The timer works fine so far (winter will be the real test). It could have a bit finer adjustment for the shorter times. Mine is used to fill a horse water stock tank and it normally takes about 10 minutes to fill. Often, distractions to other projects would cause me to forget I was filling the tank until the water overflowed. This prevents that from happening. However, a finer adjustment of the 5-10 minute range would be helpful for my situation. This should be great though for those watering lawns or gardens for longer periods of time 30-60 minutes. I just hope it doesn't break when it gets cold.

Would be better if the lowest setting was 5 minutes instead of 15 minutes. Yeah, you can fiddle around with the setting below the 15 minute mark, but it's a little "iffy". So, now I have to adjust the water flow...and it would all be a lot easier if I could just set the timer for 5 minutes and walk away. Hey, a kitchen timer runs on MINUTES, why can't a water timer? But, it was the best/least expensive one I could find and Nelson makes other great products.
